Jason specializes in working with individuals, couples, and those in non-traditional relationships who identify as part of the LGBTQ population. Within these populations, Jason is seeking to assist those who wish to address sexual health, couples counseling, depression, anxiety, HIV/AIDS-related wellness, process addiction, and substance use disorders.

Jason employs an overarching holistic approach to working with and treating clients, seeing the entire person, not just the issue. Every client is unique. As such, Jason offers treatments and techniques customized to the individual, their needs, and therapeutic goals. Given his background, Jason brings unique insight and awareness to clients. Through collaborative work and open communication, he believes every client has the potential to be the best version of themselves.

As a graduate of Loyola University, Jason joins Wellness Home at Northstar after working his MSW internship and LSW hours & LCSW certification at Inclusive Insight Psychotherapy. Jason also brings 20 years of life experience working in the field of advertising. During Jason's first year, he interned at Rush University Medical Center, where he worked with the Health & Aging social work team on community interventions for the health and well-being of the elderly and aging on the south and west sides of Chicago.

Prior to his time at Loyola, Jason spent the greater part of the last 20 years working in advertising, with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree from American University. 

Through past work and life experience, Jason brings a unique solutions-focused approach to the therapeutic practice. Whether focused on career, relationships, self-acceptance, or managing the day-to-day pitfalls of life, there are opportunities to learn, grow, and build towards a better tomorrow. Jason understands these hurdles and works with the client to jointly develop customized goals and solutions tailored to the individual to help promote growth and understanding in a compassionate and empathetic environment.
