Mental Health Counseling Services
Home Behavioral Health Services can provide an assessment and supportive counseling. This may also include linkage to more intensive levels of substance abuse treatment through one of our local community and/or hospital-based partnerships. Each substance abuse partner provides services through best practices and evidence-based medicine.
Neurological Testing and Neurofeedback
Wellness Home Behavioral Health Neurological Testing assists patients and providers in identifying conditions such as: Vascular Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Epilepsy, Anxiety, ADHD, Memory Loss, Depression, Sleep Disorders and Mild Cognitive Decline.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
TMS is an electrical current flowing through a stimulating coil that generates brief but powerful magnetic pulses, inducing an electric field in the brain sufficient to depolarize cortical neurons and activate neural networks.
Electric fields are used in various brain stimulation techniques, such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS), using direct or alternating current. In TMS, magnetic fields induce intracranial electrical fields using electromagnetic induction. This is based on Faraday’s Law.
TMS is an FDA-approved therapy that is most commonly used to treat depression, especially for individuals who have not experienced improvement with traditional treatments.
Connections to Peer Support
Wellness Home Behavioral Health Services provides connections to peers in the community. These connections can cover a variety of contexts based on the needs of the community. Some examples include recovery coaches, and peer-to-peer supportive counseling in group settings. Additionally, peer services can include drop-in centers, crisis support services, bridge services, trauma support, and group or individual support for older adults.
