Jen Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Associate Sex Offender Provider in the state of Illinois. She is a cognitive behavioral therapist with over twenty-five years of experience in clinical practice in both residential and outpatient care. She has worked with a wide range of people, including adults, children, adolescents, and families. Jen has numerous training credits and certifications in Trauma Informed Care, Critical Incident Stress Management, Restorative Justice, and Juvenile Sex Offending Behaviors.

In addition to her clinical work, Jen has trained numerous organizations and individuals including, judges, attorneys, medical personnel, child protective services, and mental health professionals. She has presented at professional conferences at the statewide and international levels, provided consultation and program development to hospitals and the private sector, and has been an adjunct professor.  Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Sociology with a Certificate in Human Sexuality Education and a Master’s Degree from Governors State University in Community Counseling.
